Asian Institute of Gastroenterology is well-known institute & medical referral center in the heart of Hyderabad. This institute is known for Therapeutic Endoscopy. Patients not only from India but also from neighboring countries visit Institute for their treatment. Asian Institute of Gastroenterology was looking for a reliable power solution for emergency back-up power generation in case of power outage.

Jakson was chosen to be preferred partner for this project due to its superior product range, performance and vast experience of executing hospital projects in the past across the country. The project involved Supply, Installation, Erection, Testing and Commissioning 6 Gensets of 1500 KVA. The project was completed in desired time period and has been successfully delivering uninterrupted power to hospital.

Business Need

The need for generators in the healthcare market is one of absolute importance. Power outages are often unexpected and unpredictable. These Power failures can lead to serious Consequences on patient monitoring

AIG too was looking for reliable power back up solution to ensure smooth operations of its hospitals.


The engineering and project execution team at Jakson designed the complete power house that included its difficult installation in the basement. This was done through extended interactions/deliberations with the civil contractors, PMC agencies so that the solution completely aligns with the infrastructure requirements.

The scope also included supply & installation of complete exhaust piping through the building shaft. There was also a requirement to connect the water piping with booster pumps to circulate water to the rooftop for the cooling towers.

An Air ventilation system was also designed to allow the maximum cooling airflow to avoid engine overheating. Jakson engineering team also provided Acoustic lining on walls & ceiling to reduce noise levels. The solution also included design & installation of 2*35 KL underground diesel storage tanks with complete automation
