HCST, Mathura adopts solar energy for cleaner and greener operations

Overview

A 400 KW grid-tied rooftop solar plant was successfully commissioned by Jakson at Hindustan College of Science & Technology, Mathura recently. The plant will help achieve annual cost savings in the range of INR 18 to 20 lakhs, while offsetting of about 480 tons of carbon emissions per year as well. Jakson provided complete turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project. The project was executed under CAPEX model, where the roof owner is the owner of the rooftop solar system and bears the entire capital expenditure of the project. In addition to turnkey execution, Jakson will provide annual operations and maintenance services.

800 KW rooftop solar plant at Starex University to drive substantial electricity cost savings

Overview

Jakson Group successfully commissioned an 800 KW grid connected rooftop solar power plant at Satrex University, located in Gurgaon, Haryana. The project was executed under Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) RESCO model. Jakson provided complete turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project. In addition to turnkey execution, Jakson will provide annual operations and maintenance service for a period of 25 years. The plant will facilitate offsetting of about 960 tons of carbon emissions per year and also achieve cost savings of INR 35 to 40 lakhs per year.

PSIT Kanpur goes green with 500 KW rooftop solar plant

Overview

A 500 KW rooftop solar plant was recently commissioned by Jakson at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Jakson provided complete turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project. Executed under Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) RESCO model, the plant will supply electricity at a subsidized rate to the institute for a period of 25 years. While an estimated annual electricity cost savings in the range of 20-25 lacs is expected, at the same time the plant will prevent almost 600 tons of harmful carbon emissions from being released into the atmosphere.
